On behalf of the Trustees of Brackley Hospital Trust, the charitable trust that was created to save the ‘Cottage Hospital’ from closure in 1990, we are delighted to be in a position to support Brackley Community Hospital 2020 Trust. When the ‘Cottage’ closed in 2015 Trustees ring-fenced the residual charity-funded capital to be retained until such time as an acceptable alternative medical facility serving our local community was in place. This revised Scheme was acknowledged as appropriate by the Charity Commissioner for England & Wales.
In support of the new dedicated charity, Brackley Community Hospital 2020 Trust, and their quest to enhance the services to be provided at the new, long awaited NHS healthcare facility, Brackley Hospital Trust considers it to now be the time to financially assist the current campaign; in particular the initial fund-raising for the provision of a digital x-ray machine.
Dated 10th March 2020 Brackley Hospital Trust hereby pledges the sum of £95,000 (Ninety Five Thousand Pounds) to the account of Brackley Community Hospital 2020 Trust, registered charity No.1185445.

The design of the facility has supported safe working arrangements during this period with room layouts and rooms sizes maintaining social distancing.
